Prototype Rear Panniers

After using the prototype bags for my tour to the SSWC I handed them to Greg from Donkelope bikes who will be using them on his entry into the Oregon Manifest Constructor's race. Good luck Greg!
The bags are very close to what is going to be the production models. The price for a set of rears will be $250. Constructed of 1000d cordura with a floating vinyl liner. I am currently using Ortlieb hardware. The cordura and vinyl are availiable in lots of different colors. The production size of the bags is just over 40liters with a roll top closure and a pair of lateral and vertical compression straps. I can customize the size of the bags to your specifications.
Please feel free to contact me for further information.

Carson city to Durango or 14 days of desert

1000 miles, over 35,000 feet of climbing and three states was all that separated Nice Tim and I from the Single Speed World Championships and as much free beer as we could drink.
I really wanted to do this trip for several reasons. I wanted to give the panniers a proper test, I wanted to see a little more of my adopted country and Nice Tim and I had been promising Dr Doom that we were going to visit him in Durango to "shred some mtb Gnar" ever since the 2007 Westside Invite in Portland, Oregon.
The trip was awesome, all the bags worked flawlessly. Thanks to Travis at Freight Baggage for the Pass and Stow rack bag!!

Up and Running

Welcome to my blog, I just got back from a two week 1000 mile product testing ride to the SSWC09 in Durango. So I am busy pulling everything back together here in SF, new designs to work on and refinements to be made to prototypes and a new workshop/house to move into in the next couple of weeks. Fun fun fun........
